Stepping into unknown territory on sacred ground. Following what's true inside you. Held through the crossing.
Seven days in southwestern France - Cathar country, ancient ground, Mary Magdalene territory.
We walk. We sit in sacred sites. We follow what opens. Daily meditation and movement. Local expert guidance at Rennes-le-Château. Time on Montségur where the Cathars chose love over everything.
The land works on you. An opening begins - one that continues long after you return.

Joy. Clarity. Renewed purpose. Deep trust that you're always supported.
Entrenched patterns dissolve. What's been weighing on you falls away. The Divine Feminine reveals herself in new ways.
You return home different. The opening deepens. What emerges was waiting all along.

This region of southwestern France carries something you can feel the moment you arrive. The Cathars walked here — early Christians who practiced radical love, equality among all people, and a direct connection to Spirit. Mary Magdalene originally brought these teachings to this land, and her energy is still alive in these hills.
In 1244, the last Cathar leaders made their stand at Montsegur. Rather than renounce their faith, they walked into the burning fields with arms linked and singing. You would expect the energy here to be heavy. It's not. It's extraordinary.

The caves hold initiation. The labyrinth holds stillness. The springs hold healing. Rennes-le-Château holds mystery. And LaValDieu — Valley of God — has drawn mystics and seekers since the time of the Druids.
This is land that works on you from the inside. When you place your feet in soil you've never walked before, something dormant wakes up. Your DNA responds to the environment, and the environment responds to you. It's why stepping out of your daily life and into this ancient territory can access parts of yourself that are harder to reach at home.
Each step becomes a practice in following your intuition, moving in the direction of your intention. You learn to trust the quiet nudges that say, go this way.

I've walked three Caminos - 500 miles, 400 miles, 300 miles. I know what transforms when you step into unknown territory with sacred intent.
I've returned to Cathar country again and again because something here opens the heart in ways I haven't found elsewhere. The land remembers radical love, acceptance, equality - people who died rather than compromise their direct connection to the divine.
I know how to hold threshold space on the road. This is the pilgrimage I wish someone had led for me.

If you feel drawn to this program but find yourself hesitating-whether it's questions, doubts, or practical concerns — let's connect. Book a call with me, and we'll explore whether Lead by Design is the right fit for you. No pressure, just a conversation to help you gain clarity on your next step.
Be the first to know when our next pilgrimage opens.
You should be comfortable with moderate walking on uneven terrain. The most physically demanding day is the hike up to Montsegur, which takes about an hour each way on a steep, rocky path. The other days involve gentler walks to caves, churches, springs, and labyrinths. If you can walk a couple of miles on varied ground at a relaxed pace, you'll do well. This is not a strenuous trip — we take our time and stop often.
Accommodations, most meals, transportation within France, guided experiences, expert guide at Rennes-le-Chateau, admission to all sites. A Human Design session before you leave and an integration call upon return. For more details see itinerary when it is available. Airfare is not included.
You'll fly into Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) in southern France. We'll arrange a group pickup from the airport on the first day. If your flight arrives outside the pickup window, alternative transportation options are available.
We stay at one or two retreat centers in the foothills of the French Pyrenees — intimate, peaceful settings surrounded by nature. Accommodations are simple and comfortable.
Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are essential — you'll be on trails, cobblestone, and uneven ground throughout the week. Layers for changeable mountain weather, a rain jacket, a refillable water bottle, a journal, and anything you'd like to place on our shared altar. A detailed packing list will be sent closer to the trip.
No prior knowledge is needed. I'll share the history and context of each site as we visit, and your Human Design chart will be woven into the experience throughout the week. Come with an open heart and curiosity.
Mornings begin with breakfast and a group meeting. We then travel to a sacred site — a cave, castle, chapel, labyrinth, or spring — where we spend time in exploration, reflection, and conversation. Afternoons include time for rest and integration, followed by another group gathering. We share dinner together each evening, and optional meditation is available some nights.
Yes. Most days include a few hours of unscheduled time for rest, journaling, walking the grounds, or exploring a nearby village.
The group is limited to eight women, allowing for an intimate, deeply connected experience.
Yes, this pilgrimage is a women's journey.
